Knitting the Sand Stitch: knitting stitches tutorial

I am a forever student of fiber arts and as most of you know, I like to share what I learn with my peeps. Today, I’m on this knitted sand stitch, so I might as well make a little knit stitch tutorial to add to the library.

It’s very beginner friendly. It’s one of those knitting stitches that would be great for a wide variety of projects, from blankets to garments.

It’s an easy 4 row repeat, so feel free to experiment by just repeating how many rows you want to meet your creative needs. Most of all, enjoy the sand stitch knit stitch tutorial and have fun!

If you’re looking for more then just knitting stitches, I think you might like these patterns below.
