Lace Shell Crocheted Tank Top Pattern

Hey! I’m back and I’m so excited for this crocheted tank top project. This crochet tank top pattern is truly a blast from the past.

The lace shell crochet tank tops pattern was one of my first crochet video tutorials. It was one of those projects where I was just trying to get something posted and it turned out to be wildly popular.

Since then, everyone has been asking for this crocheted tank top pattern with all the sizes and adjustments. So, it was a bit of a challenge to figure out but it’s FINALLY done😂. Did I mention I’m terrible at math and English is my second language? Sometimes it’s really tough to figure these out.

Without further ado, check out the free written pattern for this crocheted tank top, and of course the step by step video tutorial.

If you’d like to get the stream lined, ad free, high speed awesome PDF pattern, it’s available for sale on all my shops, like Etsy, Ravelry, or Lovecrafts.

If you’re looking for a light summer top with a little more coverage, you’ll probably enjoy this crochet lacy summer top. If you’re looking for some more crochet tank tops, check out the summer vibes tank top.

*If you want a shorter tank top, just make less rounds. If you want a longer tank top (or even a dress), just keep repeating round 8.

Straps

For the straps, we’ll crochet into all four of the top/corners.

With the tank top right side out, insert the hook into any corner to start and make the ch until you reach about 15-18” long (or as long as you prefer), Turn, sl st into the back bump of the second ch from the hook and into each back bump of each ch back down to the corner where you started.

Repeat the same in the other three corners and weave all the ends ( Check picture below )
