Lace Shell Crochet Shrug

What is a crochet shrug? It’s kind of a cocoon sweater that you could wear year round. This lace shell shrug is perfect for beginners or advanced crocheters.

I love them on summer nights when the breeze might get a little too chilly for your summer top. You can just throw a shrug over you shoulders and keep the chill away. Not too much, not too little.

I’ve included the free pattern for all sizes along with the video tutorial. If you’d like to purchase the ad free/printable PDF version in size XS-XXXXL, it’s available on my Etsy and Ravelry shops. Enjoy! 🙂

Hi Seema, the written pattern includes all the sizes up to XXXXL. To make the 3XL, you just need to follow the last group of numbers in all the instructions, which would be 160 chains.

Hi Amanda, I'm not very well versed in kids sizes, so I can't guarantee anything lol. What I would do is try to make the XS/S using a smaller hook size or maybe a smaller yarn size. You'd have to play around with it. Hope that helps.

I love your patterns. I can’t find the scheepjes sun kissed yarn to purchase. Is there a substitute? I’m in US. Thanks!

Hi Sherry thank you do much! I always order it on Etsy, I'm in the US as well. No one carries it in store here that I can find. Of course you can substitute with any superfine #1 yarn as well. Hope that helps, good luck.
