Granny Square Crochet /Crochet Granny Stripes Stitch Top

It’s been a while since I made a free crochet pattern, or any crochet patterns for that matter. I’ve been saving my energy for the ones I really wanted to share. This granny square crochet top/granny stripes stitch top pattern has been a doozy to make, but it’s going to be worth it to share it.

It’s obviously in the granny square crochet realm, but it’s a special kind including the crochet granny stripes stitch. It’s construction is of course in that case, a little unusual. We’re going to start in the middle with the squares and work our way out.

This granny square crochet/ granny stripes stitch top is probably more on the easy-intermediate side. It’s a little complex but as usual, I tried to leave room to customize into other styles. A granny square crochet dress would a pretty easy jump.
