Hey everyone, it’s been a while since I updated the crochet stitch library. I’ve had this even moss stitch crochet tutorial in my drafts forever and finally got through a long que of big projects and patterns. Time to brush up on this beautiful crochet stitch.
This even moss stitch crochet tutorial is gonna be pretty simple but you can build off it with one of my many even moss stitch crochet projects. I’ll post a list and images below.

It’s a really beginner friendly stitch, and it’s reversible so it gives you a lot more options to use it. It’s great for blankets, scarves, sweaters and winter things in general. It makes for a really warm, cozy and sturdy garment.
I used Ice Yarn Macrame Cotton Bulky #5 in this tutorial because it’s easier to see the stitches and I just love this yarn. I used it for this beautiful 4 seasons crochet purse project, definitely worth a look.

I used a 5mm hook that was HANDMADE by my husband. He’s been working hard on figuring out how to reproduce them consistently but his design is beautiful and SO smooth to use and comfortable in my hand. I’m so excited to list a few of these on Etsy when they’re ready.
