After the positive response to the original wide-brim raffia crochet sun hat pattern, I had many people ask about a shorter brim for a more compact version.

Whether it’s for easier packing, a subtler style, or personal preference, this short-brim raffia sun hat offers the same elegance as the original with added versatility.

Medium: Fit Most Women Heads = 21:33″ Hat Circumference (Fit 21-22″ heads)

We’re going to work in spiral so make sure to place the stitch marker into the first stitch in each round
