A Long sleeve crochet sweater dress pattern US
I always say that I love my newest projects, but I have to say it again. I’m in LOVE with this sweater dress 🙂 It’s more of a boat neck design with a loose fit, and it can easily be made as a sweater, full length dress or anything in between.
It’s an easy beginner/intermediate level project but it will look like an advanced one when you’re done.

If you love this project and would like to support my work, you can purchase this pattern in an ad free, printable PDF file that can be downloaded straight to your device from our shops below
Hope everyone enjoys, and as usual, if you’d like to share your work with the community, just tag me anywhere on social media @kntcroaddict. I’m hoping to see some dresses out of this one. Happy crocheting! 🙂

Sew the pieces together
Sew the shoulders together
Place the front and back panels right side facing down. We’ll sew on the wrong side, using the tail that we left earlier, using which ever method you prefer to sew ( Check picture below )

Sew the sleeves to the top
Lay your top right side facing down. Place your sleeves right side facing down. We’ll sew on the wrong side with the tail that we left earlier again, using which ever method you prefer to sew. The shoulder seam of the main panel should be in the middle of the sleeves panel and even on both side ( Check picture below )

Sew the sweater together
Fold your sweater in half at the shoulder seam. Cut a new strand of yarn 70-80″ long, enough to sew the side and the sleeve. Start sewing from the bottom up until you reach the armpit and continue sewing the sleeve side seam until the end. Weave all the ends ( Check picture below )

Congratulations! Nice work. I’d love to see those sweaters and dresses, so again, feel free to tag me anywhere on social media with yours @knitcroaddict. Happy crocheting 🙂

Wan beautiful lady <3
I live in MN also~ I think you should move to close to me and help me <3 SE MN in a beautiful part. Thank you so much for your beautiful patterns.
I need to add sleeves to all patterns- some will be lacy and some not but is there a way to add sleeves?

Hi Linda! Thank you so much. I've been through SE Minnesota many times, it's very beautiful.
Adding sleeves to all the patterns is a very broad question without one single answer. Some you easily can, some will be more of a challenge. It depends on your experience level.
Crochet relaxed fit sweater – Crochet pattern review – Get Unraveled
Tuesday 16th of March 2021
[…] My friend gave me a whole stash of yarn a couple of months ago, among which 18 x 50 grams Phildar Intemporel (60% polyamide, 20% wool and 20% cotton) color T101 and T102. This yarn is out of stock now, but you can still find it on Ebay. Since this was one of those rare moments that I actually had a lot of yarn from the same color, I decided to make a sweater for myself. I wanted to make something very easy, because this was my ‘laying on the couch while watching Netflix project’. I usually try to alternate difficult projects with easy ones. After browsing free sweater patterns for a while, I came across the ‘crochet relaxed fit sweater’ pattern from KnitcroAddict, which you can find here. […]

Hi, I don't have a link for a substitute but you can use any #1 fingering weight yarn. Hope that helps!
