Crochet Head Band Pattern, Boho Style

Between a new hair style and having to take on smaller projects at the moment, I had a good reason to design us all a new crochet head band pattern. One that can be worn with short hair, long hair, forwards, backwards etc.

I really like making boho style stuff sometimes, and it’d been a while, so I think this crochet head band pattern is past due.

It’s another one of those perfect scrap yarn, spare time projects that you can make in an afternoon without a lot of fuss or yarn.

I used Yarn Bee Wrapology Hues Passion Flower #2 sport weight yarn in the making of this crochet head band pattern. You can use any yarn you like.

For this project it isn’t as important, because it doesn’t have to be an exact fit. Keep in mind that if you use a different yarn, it may look a little different than the one here.

Matching crochet headband and kimono cardigan

The headband pictured was made from the leftover yarn from this Kimono Cardigan. Here it is in case you missed that one.

When you make your starting chain, that will be the length of your head band. If you want a longer or shorter headband, just make more or less chain when you start. Be sure to have a multiple of 2+3 ch.

It’s meant to be worn tied from the ends, with a bow or knot, however you prefer. Be creative and have fun.
