I was trying to come up with some ideas for an Easter crochet basket project, but I just dropped the Easter and stuck with a plain ole basket 🙂
It’s an easy beginner project for all, whether you celebrate Easter or not. It actually turned out perfectly for a small yarn kit bag.
This crochet basket fits a skein or two of yarn and a couple hooks, so it’s perfect for when you know you’re going to end up crocheting wherever you go, but you don’t want to carry your whole stock of crochet supplies.
Also a perfect addition to your crochet on the go kit.

Sure. For the bottom part, you will keep adding more rounds with the increase 6 st evenly on each round. You're welcome, good luck.

I am so excited to give this basket a try! I am just wondering, does it need to be blocked in order for it to hold its shape and stand upright? Thanks so much!

Hey Nikki, it's a fun little project, I think you'll enjoy. No, you don't need to block it. I don't think I've ever blocked one of them actually. Hope you enjoy!

Watched your video and am so excited to make this project. I’m just getting back into crocheting after learning from my grandmother over 50 years ago. Funny how things come back to you. I’m not good at reading patterns , so your video was so easy to understand. Thank you and I’m excited to try this and other patterns/videos you offer.😀

Nice, welcome Deanna! I love that you can put crochet down for 50 years and pick it right back up. I have plenty of video tutorials for you then, and a lot of free patterns if you want to learn to read them 😉 You're welcome, thanks for watching!
