Crochet Basket Pattern: Crochet Key Basket?

I’m not sure what to call this crochet basket pattern. I’m picturing it as a little basket for your keys and such to keep in the entryway or on your nightstand. Either way, this little cutie is going to be as fun to make as it is useful.

This little crochet basket pattern is made using the same #6 super bulky I’ve used for the last couple projects I’ve posted, so if you’ve been following along, you already have some left over yarn to use.

There’s so many names for this type of crochet basket pattern, but I’m going to call it a key basket. We’ve got a couple on our nightstands and I love having one for my Chapstick, gum, tweezers, clippers etc. I couldn’t really call it a Chapstick/tweezer/clipper basket lol.

My husband puts his keys in his mostly, so I think a key basket is a fair title. They can also be adjusted to be taller and serve another purpose, feel free to
